Your environment has a powerful impact on how you feel, move, and perform every day. Our Ergonomic Assessment is designed to help you feel more comfortable, focused, and supported in your workspace — whether that’s at the office or at home. Together, we’ll look at your desk setup, posture, and daily routines to identify small changes that can make a big difference. With simple, tailored adjustments, we can ease pain, reduce fatigue, and prevent future strain. Our in-person Ergonomic Assessment service focuses on optimizing the workspace environment to enhance comfort, safety, and efficiency. We specialize in evaluating ergonomic factors such as desk setup, seating posture, computer placement, and workplace ergonomics tailored to individual needs. By identifying ergonomic risk factors and recommending adjustments or modifications, we aim to prevent musculoskeletal injuries, alleviate discomfort, and promote overall well-being in both office and home settings. Our assessments are conducted with a keen understanding of ergonomic principles and tailored solutions to promote long-term health and productivity. The report comes with the observations, pictures before and after as well as equipment recommendations.
Cost includes: Travel to assessment site (within 30 minutes of the clinic), 90 minutes in-person assessment with measurement, before and after pictures, ergonomic education, review body position and equipment recommendation. After the visit, the OT will write a detailed report and searching for the proper equipment (90 minutes). Once the recommended equipment are in place, a follow-up session can be booked.
→ Ideal for: office workers, remote professionals working from home, students, or anyone experiencing physical discomfort while working.

Our Ergonomic Follow-Up & Equipment Optimization service is designed to ensure that recommended ergonomic equipment and workspace modifications are properly implemented and effectively supporting your comfort and performance. Once equipment is in place, we reassess posture, movement patterns, and workstation setup to fine-tune adjustments based on real-life use. This follow-up allows us to address any remaining discomfort, answer questions, and provide education on optimal use of equipment and healthy work habits. Our goal is to maximize the benefits of the ergonomic intervention, prevent strain or injury, and support long-term comfort, productivity, and well-being in your daily work environment.

Mental Health OT Follow-Up sessions are designed to support continued progress, reflection, and integration following initial treatment sessions. These appointments provide a dedicated space to review goals, explore what strategies are working, and adjust interventions based on evolving needs. Follow-up sessions may focus on strengthening coping skills, refining emotional regulation strategies, addressing new or ongoing challenges, and supporting the application of tools in daily life. Through a collaborative and client-centered approach, we aim to foster consistency, resilience, and sustainable well-being while supporting clients as they continue to build confidence, insight, and functional independence.

Living with chronic pain can feel lonely — but healing begins when you understand what your body is trying to tell you. Our pain management approach blends education, gentle movement, and self-regulation tools to help you work with your pain, not against it.
Together, we’ll explore pacing, body awareness, nervous system calming, and lifestyle strategies that reduce flare-ups and build confidence. The goal: reclaim your energy, your independence, and your joy.
→ Ideal for: individuals with chronic pain, fatigue, or mobility limitations.
Our Pain Management and Education service is designed to support individuals living with chronic pain through a holistic, evidence-informed approach. We focus on helping clients better understand the mind-body connection, identify triggers, and develop sustainable strategies to manage pain in daily life. Interventions may include pacing techniques, gentle movement, body mechanics education, relaxation practices, and lifestyle adaptations that reduce flare-ups and improve overall function. We also provide tailored pain education to demystify the pain experience, empowering clients to shift from fear and limitation toward resilience, self-awareness, and greater participation in meaningful activities. Holistic Pain Management Treatment is a personalized, evidence-based occupational therapy service designed to support individuals living with persistent pain, chronic illness, and pain-related stress or burnout.
This approach recognizes that pain is influenced not only by the body, but also by the nervous system, emotions, daily routines, environment, and lived experiences. Together, we explore how pain shows up in your life and gently work to reduce its impact — not by pushing through, but by building safety, understanding, and self-trust.
Sessions may include:
Pain neuroscience education to better understand how pain works
Nervous system regulation strategies to support safety and calm
Pacing, energy management, and flare-up planning
Gentle movement and body awareness
Adaptations to daily activities, routines, and environments
Tools to rebuild confidence, participation, and quality of life
Care is collaborative, trauma-informed, and adapted to your unique needs, goals, and capacity on any given day. The focus is not on “fixing” pain, but on helping you feel more in control, supported, and empowered in your healing journey.

Pediatric occupational therapy supports children in developing the skills they need to feel confident, regulated, and successful in their everyday lives—at home, at school, and in play. This service is designed for children who may experience challenges with emotional regulation, sensory processing, attention, coordination, daily routines, or transitions.
Each session is child-led, play-based, and tailored to your child’s unique strengths, needs, and developmental stage. Therapy focuses on helping children:
Build emotional regulation, focus, and participation in daily activities
Develop sensory processing and body awareness
Strengthen fine and gross motor skills
Increase independence in self-care and routines
Feel safe, understood, and confident in their abilities
Parents and caregivers are an essential part of the process. Sessions include education, practical strategies, and simple tools you can use at home to support your child beyond the therapy space. Care is gentle, evidence-based, trauma-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming. The goal is not to change who your child is, but to support them in thriving as they are — with the skills and confidence to navigate their world.

Pediatric Occupational Therapy treatment at The Holistic OT Sanctuary focuses on ongoing support and skill development to help children participate more comfortably and confidently in their daily lives.
Treatment sessions build on assessment findings and are designed to actively support your child through play-based, goal-directed activities. Sessions may focus on strengthening emotional regulation, sensory processing, motor skills, attention, and daily living skills in a way that feels safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate.
During treatment, your child will:
Practice regulation and coping strategies through play and movement
Build coordination, fine motor, and functional skills
Learn tools to support focus, transitions, and daily routines
Gain confidence in trying new skills within a supportive environment
Therapy is flexible and adapts to your child’s needs, energy, and readiness on each visit. Progress is supported through repetition, encouragement, and gradual skill-building — without pressure or comparison.
Parents and caregivers are included through brief check-ins, home strategies, and collaborative goal-setting to support carryover beyond sessions.
Care is evidence-based, trauma-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming. The goal of treatment is to help your child grow skills, confidence, and independence while honoring who they are.

Applying for the Disability Tax Credit can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re already navigating the daily realities of living with a disability, chronic illness, or mental health condition. This service is designed to support you with care, clarity, and respect throughout that process.
We offer a review and attestation service for the Disability Tax Credit Certificate (T2201) when the form has been completed by a partner organization or another qualified professional. Our role is to thoughtfully review the information provided and assess how your condition impacts your daily functioning and activities of daily living, such as self-care, mobility, cognition, emotional regulation, and participation in everyday life.
During this review, we take the time to:Understand how your condition affects you all or substantially all of the time
Ensure the functional impacts are clearly and accurately described, using language aligned with CRA criteria
Reflect your lived experience with compassion, dignity, and clinical integrity
Sign the form when it falls within my professional scope of practice as an Occupational Therapist
This service does not replace medical diagnosis or treatment. Instead, it focuses on translating the real-life impact of your condition into functional terms that support your application for the Disability Tax Credit, as defined by the Canada Revenue Agency.
The approach is holistic, client-centred, and non-judgmental. You are not expected to “prove” your worthiness — your experiences matter, and they deserve to be acknowledged with care.
If you are unsure whether this service is appropriate for your situation, we are happy to discuss your needs and help guide you toward the right support.
